Welcome to this week’s Living Word! We’re trying something new for 6th form – one post with one topic that you can come back to each day.

We’ll also be trying to look at things that are slightly deeper and more relevant to you as young people so hopefully over time this will develop into something that really works for you.

Each week we’ll still have an intro video (which maybe in time could be a different one for 6th form) and that will help set the tone – this one is an amazing start!

Prudence – Making wise descisions!

Being prudent is not just about thinking, it’s about taking action.

It’s about making the wise choice, not necessarily the easy one – in 6th form the choices you face are all the more important.

Decisions about how you spend your time, your money, and who you spend it with all start to have real significance and that’s all before you start making even bigger choices about your life, your next steps after school and the kind of person you want to be.

To help us out we’re going to have a little challenge for you to think about and discuss over this week:

Watch this video and then try to come to the most prudent decision as a form – write it in the comments box and we’ll reveal each forms answers on Friday for you to discuss.

Remember there’s no right answer but think about what our faith may inspire us to do and see if you agree.

Try and come back to this discussion when you can and on Friday you’ll get to see what each form has written to take the conversation further.

Each morning try also to take some time to think about the real life decisions you’ve got to make – you might want to use the music below to set some atmosphere or just use a period of quiet.
