The Rosary is a prayer that we can all use to meditate on the life of Jesus Christ. It is a powerful tool for prayer and spiritual growth through the intercession of Mary our mother. The Rosary can help us to grow in our faith, to deepen our relationship with God, and to find peace and comfort in difficult times.
Find time to pray the Hail Mary or the Rosary this week.
Day 1 – Start with scripture
We start with the Sign of the Cross.

Glory to You O LordIn the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.
He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High;
and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David,
and he will reign over the house of Jacob for ever;

Day 2 – The Holy Rosary
St Dominic
We start with the Sign of the Cross.
October is the month of the Holy Rosary. in 1208 Dominic Guzman, a Spanish priest, travelled into France. He went into a forest near Toulouse, France to pray, asking God to provide what he needed.
Ancient accounts tell us that, after three days of prayer and fasting, three angels appeared in the sky along with a ball of fire. When they disappeared, the Virgin Mary spoke, telling the priest that he must preach about Her in order to succeed in his struggle. And so the Rosary was born.
The Rosary is a gift from our Holy Mother Mary and praying it teaches us about the life and mysteries of Jesus Christ. As we hold the the beads, we are holding the spiritual hand of our Blessed Mother and she gently leads us into closer union with her son.
Let us pray together:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Day 3 -Pray a decade
