Humility is like having modest or low view of somebody accomplishments. Showing humility is not seeing yourself as more important than other people. Being humble is not being weak, as you’re showing resilience.

– When someone is kind and caring when you are successful. Helping others and now showing off.

– We can be shy when we are being humble. It does not mean you are weak, it takes a lot of strength. Putting other people’s feelings first, not wanting to hurt them by bragging. It is ok to acknowledge your achievements without hurting other people’s feelings.

It is about taking only what you need and being very down-to-earth and generous. When you respect people’s beings and how unique they can be. When you’re kind and considerate to your elders and respect the Earth that God’s put for us to live on. Respecting other peoples’ achievements.

Humility is a fruit of the spirit not a weakness. It could be showing kindness.

To be humble, we should try to be quiet and listen more. Be STARS. By being respectful to others, even if we do not like them. Try to always use manners. Try to be understanding to others.
It is not a weakness because you are helping others and if someone else does not like that it is their problem.
It might show weakness if someone keeps taking advantage of your good deeds but it shows them bad, really, not you. We shouldn’t act a way someone else wants us to if it is wrong.

Is being humble showing weakness?
Being humble is not showing weakness, it’s about showing strength. We are all equal. Nobody is better than others. It is about building trust and helping people to success. We are all important, being humble can make you feel really powerful.

We can not give up because God will always be with you no matter what. Just follow his path. Go the right way. Just look straight, never look back. Remember God will always love you.

We can show humility by treating everybody with respect. Being modest is not always a weakness as it makes us a good human being.

Letting someone in front of you in the queue or holding the door. Good manners. Being a nice person to everyone. It is not a sign of weakness as it is being a nice person. It is not a sign of weakness because it is easier to be selfish than selfless. When you put someone else in front of you, it is harder to do. It is more a sign of strength than weakness. People can take advantage of you but you need strength to persevere.

There are lots of forms of humility and you do them all the time. Emotions may cloud your judgement but humility can build a bridge.

Humility looks like holding the door open for someone to pass, and kindness towards others. We think humility is a strength, and it takes strength to be open to learning from others, in order to build on our areas of weakness. However, we think it is important to understand the difference between humility and naivety, because if we are willing to learn from just anyone then we may be opening ourselves up to following the wrong examples. It also takes strength to know who we should be learning from.

7MCY in our liturgy we spoke about being humble and kind. We learnt about the arrival of Jesus. We spoke about our liturgical colour which was green. As a form we wrote Bidding prayers health, kindness and caring and love and respect which Jesus showed. Humility is like being calm and ‘chill’. Not being full of yourself.

Jesus is an example to us of total humility. We can learn from Him and grow.

We should try to better our societies through our individual actions; to be humble and consider how we can change ourselves.
We should always try to be the best versions of oursleves and have trust that God will help us do this.
